As a part of our Annual CSR project, SA Coatings (Pvt) Ltd. sponsored 04 water purifiers with the aid of our employees, dealers and distributors to 04 schools in Kabithigollaawa, Anuradhapura District; NCP/A/KB KIRIMETIYAWA VIDUHALA, NC/A/KB HADAGALA VIDUHALA, GALAWEWA RMABAKAPUWEWA VIDUHALA and THITHAGONAWA MAHA VIDUHALA.
Also, hand wash liquid and digital thermometers to record temperature was donated to all 04 schools to help them fight the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Commemorating the 100th birth anniversary of the late Deshamanya A.Y.S. Gnanam and the 60th Anniversary of Rhino Roofing, a patient waiting area was constructed at District General Hospital, Gampaha. The 1400 Sq. Ft.facility could comfortably accommodate 100 patients. In addition, a Public Announcing system, fans and television were installed in the waiting room.
Thakshila College, one of Gampaha district’s oldest schools, was widely discussed during the 2021 Ordinary Level examinations as a picture of students sitting for the exam in a damaged building during heavy rains was circulated. The public, including mainstream media institutions, brought the school’s plight to light, and that is when the heart-warming story was picked up by Rhino Roofing Products Ltd., who recognized the needs of the children at the school and decided to make a difference in these growing lives despite the country’s situation.
Design, build and handover of a new ward complex for Hingurukaduwa Divisional Hospital was held on 4th June 2022 to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of our late Deshamanya A.Y.S. Gnanam, Founder and Chairman of St. Anthony’s Group. This ward complex has a total of 2398 sqft and consists of a male, female, children’s, and a maternity ward. Hingurukaduwa is a rural area in the heart of Uva Province, one of their main concerns was the lack of habitable wards for the patients.
The new ward complex was completed and handed over within 3 months to the public of Hingurukaduwa by St. Anthony’s Coatings (Pvt) Ltd.

Every year on Earth Day since 2021, we organise a beach clean-up event to demonstrate our support for environmental protection. In 2021, we cleaned a small patch of beach near a coastal village in Ariyalai, Jaffna. In 2022, we cleaned Chaaty Beach in Velanai Island, Jaffna. In 2023, we cleaned another corner of the Chaaty Beach in Velanai Island.

We joined hands with Muthuthamby Maha Vidyalayam in Thirunelveli, Jaffna to educate students on organic agriculture and sustainability. The first phase of the project involved constructing a small compost pit within school premises and educating students to collect and compost degradable materials accumulated within the school grounds and surroundings such as fallen leaves followed by a ‘Shramadanam’ event at the school to clean a designated area of the school garden and to promote proper waste management, with students, teachers and the hotel staff taking part in the event. We also provided the school with labelled garbage bins to collect and separate organic, plastic, paper, and metal/glass for proper disposal.
As part of Thinnai’s Sustainable Development Goals is a tree-planting campaign, 300 trees were planted along the Jaffna-Palaly Road from Punnalaikkadduvan to Vasavilan. This campaign was sponsored by healthylifestyle.lk , with The Thinnai Group planting and maintaining the trees.
